Use this form to grant and assign an existing Deed of Trust to an assignee (by an instrument in writing, signed and acknowledged in the manner provided by law entitling mortgages to be recorded, assign the same to the person therein named as assignee) Once completed record the assignment in the auditor's office of the county where the Deed of Trust was recorded. For use by individuals or corporations. (RCW 61.16.010)
By law the current borrowers must be notified of the assignment and change of creditors with contact information, generally within 30 days to avoid penalty. Included are "Notice of Assignment of Deed of Trust" forms.

The process was fast and efficient. I did get a bit confused after entering info for my package but soon realized I had completed this part of the process and only needed to leave the page and wait for review of the document and then the invoice. The guide I needed was very easy to understand and the template was easy to complete. I had a property attorney review the deed before I had it registered and she was impressed. This was such a money saver. I was told by someone at the courthouse that I had to have a lawyer prepare the paper work for my mom. They stated that family members couldn't prepare the papers. I was hopeful when I found that I could prepare the survivorship affidavit on Deeds. I was able to prepare everything myself and had no issues today when at the courthouse for all the changes.
