In the case of a civil action arising out of this section, the prevailing party is entitled to attorney fees and costs.) I was in a rush to record a quit claim deed, however due to covid 19 Miami dade county recorders office are not open to public. According to staff I would have to mail in the quit claim deed and wait approximately two weeks for the deed to get recorded. Thanks to Deeds.com I got my document recorded in less than one day. My sale is a land contract and it is complicated. We were thinking we'd have to get an attorney. Your site is very thorough and helpful. We will still have an attorney look over our final papers --and we are still waiting on my deed from the bank to finalize our input. Thank you for your feedback Lanette. In review, it looks like your first payment was declined, second one was approved and processed. What you are seeing is one payment and a hold placed by your financial institution for the declined attempt. We are not sure why they do this but the hold usually falls off after a few day depending on their policy. If you have further questions about this you can contact your financial institution and they will explain. Have a great day.
