In Alabama, a full price lien is sought to secure the full price specified for any materials furnished on a construction job. To claim a full price lien, the full price lien notice must be provided to the property owner of record before materials are furnished on the job. Full price liens are available to prime contractors who have contracted directly with the property owner.
Under Ala. Code Ann. 35-11-210, before furnishing any material for use in the project, prime contractors must notify the owner or his or her agent in writing, of certain specified prices. Unless the owner formally objects, this preliminary notice reserves the prime contractor's right to a lien for the full price as specified in the notice, without regard to whether or not the amount of the claim for the material so furnished exceeds the unpaid balance due the contractor. If the owner objects to the prices, he must notify the prime contractor in writing before the material is used, that he or she will not be responsible for the price thereof. This allows both the contractor and the owner to understand the terms of the contract, and gives them an opportunity to discuss contentious points before the work begins.
The notice identifies the parties, the location where the work or improvement will take place, the nature of the materials or services, the expected costs, and relevant dates. Deliver the completed notice to the owner via both USPS First Class and Certified mail.

The guide I needed was very easy to understand and the template was easy to complete. I had a property attorney review the deed before I had it registered and she was impressed. This site was easy to use for access to State forms for filing in Montmorency County clerks office. Not only did I find claim form but a sample claim was available for assisting on how to complete your form correctly. Found this so very useful for us (public resident) to fill in the form as a .PDF file that prints out typed form - rather than handwritten entries. There is a fee but your access is always available on internet to this site in the future. Saved me time using this site and My filed form looks professional. You have access to several other forms if needed.

Not user friendly, and not an Adobe fan. The first page of Quitclaim Deed form cuts off the Parcel Identification line on the bottom. Also quite a few forms showed up to be downloaded , after I paid, so I was unsure if all the forms were part of the quitclaim package. I have adobe but was unable to locate the forms in adobe on my computer after I downloaded them. Just wanted to print out one quitclaim deed form, which would have taken less that 3 minutes. instead it took 97 minutes. Thank you, though, for having the form there.

The website was easy to navigate but only needed one form. The guide was helpful also. Cost want high but contains many documents that I didn't need but may someday. Could not save form after completed but printed copies that needed to be court filed.

I thought this form was great and easy to complete but the instructions were unclear as to whether the grantee- beneficiaries needed to sign and notarize their signatures as well. It did not appear to be the case but it would be helpful if the instructions spelled this out better.
